Donations to the Kyle Heard Foundation help reduce financial barriers to preventative wellness, treatment and support for first responders, veterans and their families. Through our partnership with The6 Clinic and the generosity of our community, your gift helps make sure those who spend their lives showing up for others have someone showing up for them.

Kyle Heard Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization recognized under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your donation goes straight to the responders, veterans, and their families in the community who need support and services. The foundation will sponsor additional treatment, and connect recipients with community resources they may not otherwise have access to.

  • We operate off of referrals from The6 clinic, departments, or individuals who are sent our way. We will interview potential recipients to determine their need, and source out funding accordingly.

  • We are relying heavily on donations at this time. We are hopeful to start qualifying for state and federal grants to expand our reach as quickly as possible.

  • We are based in Sonoma County, but are willing to respond and offer whatever support we can regardless of your location.

  • Yes! As we grow, we want to host events, seminars, department wide trainings and so much more. If you are interested in volunteering, have a great idea you want to share, or have resources or a background in responder wellness you’re willing to share, we would love to hear from you!
