Our Partnership with The6

The relationship between the Kyle Heard Foundation and The6 Clinic began years before the Foundation existed. Kyle first met The6 founder, Sonya McVay, when he came to her for treatment of an injury. What began as his own care quickly grew into a shared vision. Kyle believed deeply in preventative health and wellness within the fire service and was always looking for better ways to take care of the people beside him. He connected with Sonya to bring The6 directly into the fire stations, giving firefighters greater access to education, treatment, and resources before an injury became career ending. They shared the belief that caring for first responders should be proactive, accessible, and built into the culture of the job.

Today, that relationship has come full circle. The6 Clinic serves as both the physical home of the Kyle Heard Foundation and an important part of how Kyle's vision continues forward. The clinic provides a trusted space centered around the health, wellness, and resilience of first responders, veterans, and their families, while the Foundation helps bridge the gap when cost, coverage, or other barriers might otherwise interrupt or prevent care.

The6 Clinic offers a number of services in house, including Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Manual Therapy, Pilates, PEMF, Red Light Therapy, Work Conditioning, Chiropractic care, and so much more...

What began with Kyle walking through The6's doors for his own care has grown into something much bigger. This partnership allows us to do more than just talk about supporting our responder community.
